Firmware Update

The new firmware update version 5.3.6 released on November 17, 2010 is a major release. For 510 and 512 models only

New in this updated firmware:

• Improves EarPrint communication with iPhone 4 and iOS 4.x
• Adds Voice Announcements (English)
• Supports Music and Media (A2DP) and the ability to connect 2 phones (MultiPoint)
• Supports the ability to personalize the audio with EarPrint in all 3 audio modes Headset, Music and Pass Thru
• Allows the EarPrint App to work on Android 2.1 and 2.2 touch screen phones. Visit Android Market Place to download the Sound ID EarPrint App.

If you are connecting two phones, turn both phones OFF after pairing them with the headset and then the first phone turned on will have streaming media and music (A2DP) through the headset. After the connection is established you may turn the second phone ON.

To download this update, click on the button below that corresponds to the operating system you will be using. Sound ID now provides Mac OS X (10.5 or later), Windows 32-bit, and Windows 64-bit firmware update applications.
