Nick Michael, MS, VP of Signal Processing
Nick Michael joined the Company in August 2001. Before joining Sound ID Nick was the Director of Signal Processing at ReSound Corporation where he helped bring ReSound’s and world’s first open architecture digital hearing aid. He has been involved with audio and acoustics for most of his career, working on active noise control and musical acoustics in previous positions.
At Sound ID he was initially in charge of the DSP assembly language programs for hearing enhancement and general device functionality. Later he assumed the management of the Signal Processing/DSP Department as well as of the Research Department. He also served as the program manager for the SM100 device. Nick holds a MSEE degree from the Michigan Technological University.
