Michael R. Jones, CEO
Michael Jones has nearly 30 years’ experience in the hearing aid industry. He began his
career with a leading hearing aid manufacturer, where he held positions in sales, marketing,
international operations and acquisitions.
Mr. Jones joined Phonak in 1996 as president and CEO of Phonak LLC. He also served as the CEO of Phonak Group, where he was responsible for North American Operations, and was globally responsible for the Unitron Hearing brand. He was also on the Group Executive Management Board of Phonak Holding Ltd. Under his leadership, North American market share grew substantially, and his group became a major revenue contributor.
Mr. Jones remains an active contributor and consultant to U.S. hearing industry organizations, and is past chairman of the Better Hearing Institute and the Hearing Industries Association.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
